God Of War Ragnarok Lost Treasury Complete Puzzle And Location Guide

The Lost Treasury in God of War Ragnarok is one of Midgard's most rewarding secret locations, offering valuable crafting materials, lore, and legendary gear. Reaching and unlocking this hidden vault requires players to navigate through the frozen expanse of the Lake of Nine and solve an intricate environmental puzzle. Understanding how to manipulate the massive shield structure blocking the entrance ensures smooth exploration and helps Kratos access every hidden reward inside.

Finding the Lost Treasury in Midgard

To locate the Lost Treasury, journey to the southwestern edge of the Lake of Nine in Midgard. The entrance is marked by a giant shield that once belonged to a massive statue, now partially buried in ice and debris. Finding this destination is tied closely to completing local favor quests and collecting key items needed to breach the main vault doors.

Solving the Massive Shield Environmental Puzzle

The main obstacle at the Lost Treasury involves shifting the gigantic shield back and forth using the Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos. Players must slide the shield to the right to climb up the surrounding ruins and create a path above the courtyard. Once at the top, detonating explosive jars clears red bramble growth, unlocking further movement options for the shield mechanism.

Unlocking the Inner Vault Door

After clearing the upper levels, you must align the shield in the center to reveal two mechanical gears on either side. Freeze one gear with the Leviathan Axe, use the crank handle to open the gate, and quickly chain Sigil Arrows to keep the gears frozen long enough to sprint inside. Taking these coordinated steps ensures Kratos gains full entry into the treasury interior before the massive doors seal shut again.

Collecting Legendary Treasures and Lore

Inside the Lost Treasury, players will discover a Legendary Chest containing valuable upgrades alongside a lore marker that deepens Midgard's backstory. Defeating the hostile enemies guarding the main chamber allows you to safely loot all resources and complete associated quest steps. Completing this vault provides a significant power boost for Kratos as he prepares for tougher endgame challenges across the Nine Realms.
